Rule Number 10. Master the Fundamentals
Every champion, every winner, every great guy, every top gun is simply a master of the fundamentals! In all genuine subjects of life, there are basics which sum to the total of such a subject. The task for every superstar is to find these basics and master them by practice, yes continuous practice. The superstar footballer – David Beckham used to practice the basic soccer art of shooting by taking at least one hundred shots at goal before he learnt to bend the ball so well into the goal! In their book – ‘the Millionaire Next Door’ Stanley and Danko investigated the lives of Millionaires in America, tracking their shopping habits, living habits, saving and spending habits etc. One truth is common through their findings – all of these millionaires were just regular guys who learnt to master the fundamentals of making and keeping money!
Rule Number 11. Be Consistently Consistent
Victory in most areas of life lies in consistency. Habitually repeating a process that has returned positive results is better than winning the lottery! Be scientifically consistent in your quest for wealth and riches! Find your niche and stick there till you strike gold and when you do strike gold – repeat the process! For some its retail, for others its technology and yet for some others it is story-telling or even jest-making! Once you have discovered the area where you tend to make money the easiest, where you provide the best service with the greatest joy, where you excel with much pleasure even if no one pays you for it, please deep dive into it and refer to rule number 10.
Rule Number 12. Do Not Play ‘Fool’
A fool and his money will soon part ways. That’s why you cannot afford to play ‘fool’. Frugality is still part of the game and will always be. Money likes to be treated royally and tends to stay more with friends that will treat it just the way it likes to be treated – as royalty. Because money answers to all things, it is not a commodity to be toyed with or treated shabbily ! The rich know this secret and never play fool with their money!
