About a day ago, I started a new series on “The New Rules of Rich”. Follow this link to catch up with the part one of this article “The New Rules of Rich Part 1”.

Rule Number 4. The Law of Two(s)

This one has stood the test of time indeed! It simply says you really do not have a thing until you have two of that thing! Simple enough right? God had Adam, but still created Eve. Buy two bikes, ride one and rent one! Have two cars, drive one and use one for Uber! Inherit two houses – live in one and earn rental income from the other! You get it now? The law of twos does not say you should stop at two however, like the saying goes – the more the merrier… Got a job? Then get a side hustle, then another side hustle, then another side hustle etc.

Rule Number 5. Ride with the Whales

Let’s face it, in any ocean there are whales and then the other fishes, so if you are not a whale then learn to ride with the whales! You don’t need me to tell you that you are not Warren Buffet, so if you want to invest in stocks – learn from Warren Buffet. That’s exactly why Mark Cuban is hanging out with a little known Chinese founder of arguably the largest crypto currency exchange in the world! A guy simply known as CZ. You don’t have to reinvent the wheel, but to stay rich in this age you have to ride with the whales!

Rule Number 6. Nobody Will Pay You to Destroy Value

That’s common sense every time isn’t it? But did you know that the reverse is also very true every time – everyone will pay you to add value, therefore, resolve to solve people’s problems daily. It amazes me how someone will draw up a resume and not include any problem solving skills! So why should I hire you? To destroy value?  Find out what you can do to add value and blow that trumpet, bring value to others by solving their problems consistently, it brings riches. And if you can’t solve problems, start by learning how not to destroy value.

To be continued…
